Cheetah

It was reported that Tarzan's chimp Cheetah died today. He was 80 years old.

After his stellar acting career, Cheetah lived on Johnny Weissmuller's estate for some years before retiring to Florida where the community mourned their beloved friend.

Cheetah spent his retirement years watching televised sports and listening to Christian music. However, he also had no patience for fools and when provoked or vexed, he was known to have thrown his own feces at others.

But, most of the time, he was considered to be outgoing, loved to make people laugh and he especially loved women. A medical building in his name is in the process of raising funds.

The report also mentioned that actress Mia Farrow (whose mother, Maureen O'Sullivan, starred as Jane in the Tarzan films) always referred to Cheetah the chimp as 'that bastard.'"

I can only wish that the same will be said for my obituary...
